Above: Feeding your family wholesome, organic meals can be simple and delicious.
I remember being asked when I was young what I wanted to be when I grew up. My answer was always a mother. I knew form a young age that I aspired to be a great mom. I didn’t know who I would have children with or how many I would have, but I knew I wanted to be a supermom and was going to LOVE my children!
As a mother of four, I have chosen from the beginning to raise my children organically and holistically. I had four healthy, organic, vegetarian pregnancies. I used a Naturopath and midwives for my home, water-birth, natural deliveries. I have raised my children holistically and as organically as possible (no- it’s not cheap, but it’s worth it!). I homeschooled my children in their elementary (and middle-school for some) years. I am so thankful and blessed to have been able to work from home, even as a single-mom, so that I could spend quality time with them as they grew.
I have put more hours in the kitchen than most women my age. No doubt! I was and continue to be committed to making home prepared healthy meals made with love. I have a great deal of experience sneaking healthy foods into my children’s meals from a young age. Now, as older children, mine have healthy palettes, will try new things and happily eat fruits and veggies. They often crave healthy foods. My children also recognize and reflect on how their health is often stronger than their peers.
I am very passionate about natural and holistic parenting. From babies to teens, I’ve been through every stage. Now, as a certified Holistic Health Coach, I am passionate about bringing my learned wisdom and experience to others. I can help parents bringing children’s health and wellness back into balance.
